"The Vampire Diaries" are coming to Germany!

through a TV-Trailer ProSieben was announced today that the U.S. series "The Vampire Diaries" from 20 January is broadcast every Wednesday. In the United States rises, the series just fantastic rates for the small network The CW is one of the hits of the current TV season.
In "Vampire Diaries" is about the vampire brothers Damon ( Ian Somerhalder ) and Stefan Salvatore ( Paul Wesley) who are returning after years in the small town of Mystic Falls. After Stefan's arrival it immediately comes to two brutal murders on a lonely country road. The return of Stefan is quite easy to explain, as it is the beautiful Elena (Nina Dobrev ) to an accurate picture of his great love Katherine 19th Century concerns. But as well as the approach is a two attacked by Elena's friends. Stefan is now clear that not only he has returned to Mystic Falls.
The series you can really only recommend. An initial comparison with the film "Twilight" can probably not be brushed aside. However, the series will soon find its own unique direction, which goes far beyond the teen-trash out.
