"The Vampire Diaris: Mystic Falls is addictive
Kevin Williamson has done it again. The creator of "Dawson's Creek" and the famous "Scream" trilogy has me once again to a series of the more enriched I can not leave my finger. The mystery newcomer "The Vampire Diaires", which now makes the Thursday evening a success for The CW knows just convince. Also because one will get more than just another teen tearjerker of a small transmitter. On closer inspection you can see what is really in the series and before you know it can no longer let their fingers like this.
I have to admit I needed a bit until I could really get involved in "The Vampire Diaries". As a reason, I can not, however, lead times, that the series needs a little time to find their way. It was more the case that I am so snowed under with series that I got involved only very reluctantly to a new weekly adventure.
But the latest on the sixth episode, I probably had to admit defeat. Here we were given little flashbacks to the 19th Century to see and met Katherine (Nina Dobrev ), that the brunette beauty Damon ( Ian Somerhalder ) and twisted Stefan ( Paul Wesley ) until the head before they are sent to the two vampires. The history and the mythology of the show was a lot more interesting from here and you got the feeling that Kevin Williamson here working toward something bigger.
The next episode is concerned with the high-school student Vicki ( Kayla Ewell ), which has been transformed by Damon. In a small Halloween spectacle there is then an absolute shocker, as Vicki dies with the first leading actress of the series. When they attacked Elena Stefan has no other choice but to kill Vicki. About the death scene I had already written.
And after this episode I asked myself then really know whether the series is now even more shocking to me. Because hey, if you'll be on a main character die - which is yet to come? But in the course I was not disappointed. The episode brought Candles '162 'Stefan's best friend Lexi ( Arielle Kebbel) - also a vampire - to Mystic Falls to celebrate his birthday. We saw a bit of Stefan was dissolved and quite knew to have fun. However, Damon knew that joy to destroy it. As a local group of people, including the Sheriff of Mystic Falls, on the existence of vampires know and be safe on the basis of deaths that have returned, Damon takes the opportunity and throws them before Lexi to obliterate it by finally killing himself by a flock of wood.
Not only that Damon did not question the villain of the series, but it also shows why Stefan seems torn. Each of the stands seemed close to him, sooner or later have to pay for it. Damon, who after a few murders, now killed Stefan's best friend and was able to build a character to the audience and themselves about the impact a relationship, it seems now only are being blocked as a villain.
But here is one from then subsequently last Thursday surprised. Kevin Williamson shows his writing team in this episode, that Damon seems to have an emotional side. Far away from his extremely sick love for his brother, without it can not be [but then it does not somehow], we learn here what it means to be valuable crystal up, the Witch Bonnie ( Katerina Graham ), the now at last a greater role in the action happening get to with the neck and is from one of their ancestors. It will turn out that Damon had an ancestor by Bonnie a deal that is because he protects her family when she finds in exchange with the crystal a way back Katherine . Bring The following tries to Bonnie, who is now possessed by the spirit of their ancestor Emily to prevent this by destroying the power of the crystal.
This shows us then a broken Damon, whose character here is more complex, and Stefan who now are seen in front of Bonnie as a vampire to save her before Damon's revenge for the broken crystal.
And now only granted you a little insight into the main story, which is accompanied by equally interesting subplots that will probably run into each other sooner or later. Sun Bandelt Damon victim Caroline (Candice Accola ) to present with Elena's ex-boyfriend Matt (Zach Reoring ), while the history teacher Alaric Saltzman ( Matt Davis) is another vampire comes to Mystic Falls. This culminated in the Cliff Hanger, that the fact of murdered reporter Damon Fell Logan (Chris Johnson ) again is at the door of the Gilbert House.
And so it goes on this week:
